Think of the Leoch LDC12-105-G27-DT as the longer, stronger cousin of the LDC12-90-G24-DT. It stretches the case from 260 mm to 306 mm and brings the rating from 85Ah to 105Ah at 20 hours, and from 73Ah to 88Ah at 5 hours. The cost is 8.8 lbs, taking the total to 61.3 lbs.
Both batteries use DT (5/16") terminals, which bring the overall height to 232.5 mm, 18.5 mm more than the T version of this 105Ah model. Reserve capacity is 220 minutes at 25A and 44 minutes at 75A, and the case is ABS. The 78Ah at 3 hours is a reminder that the 105 is best treated as a long-discharge battery.
It is a sensible choice where the tray is long and low and the cables already use 5/16" lugs. If the lid clearance is tight, the T-terminal version of this model gives back the extra height and saves about 1 lb.
