Description
Choose the Leoch LDC12-145 for its shape, not its capacity. It is a tall, short-footprint 12V block, 13.39 by 6.77 inches and 11.02 inches high (11.26 over the terminals), which suits a compartment that is deep rather than long. The datasheet capacities are 148Ah at 20 hours, 122Ah at 5 hours and 118Ah at 3 hours.
Set that beside the LDC12-140 and the capacity story gets awkward. The 140 is rated 144Ah at 20 hours, but it delivers 126Ah at 5 hours and 120Ah at 3 hours, so it overtakes the 145 once discharge speeds up. It is also lighter, at 86.4 lbs against 93.7 lbs. What it cannot do is fit in a deep pocket: it is 408 mm long and only 224.5 mm tall.
Reserve capacity is 308 minutes at 25A, 115 minutes at 56A and 88 minutes at 75A. Terminals are T11 (M8) and the case is ABS. Two make a 24V bank and four a 48V bank.
