Description
On paper, the Leoch LDC6-210B and the LDC6-210-GC2 are identical: 210Ah at 20 hours, 175Ah at 5 hours, 165Ah at 3 hours, 460 / 175 / 120 minutes of reserve capacity, and the same 260 by 180 by 252 mm case with DT (5/16") terminals. The sheet separates them on only two lines. The B model is built in ABS and weighs 67.0 lbs; the GC2 uses polypropylene and weighs 59.9 lbs.
That 7-lb gap matters over a bank. Four batteries (a 24V pack) differ by about 28 lbs, and eight (a 48V pack) by about 57 lbs, so if the machine's lift points or the operator's back are a constraint, the lighter GC2 wins. Where the case material itself is the priority, the 210B is the one to order.
For more run time in a similar package, the LDC6-224-GC2 gives 14Ah more at 20 hours with a lower profile, and the LDC6-270 offers 60Ah more with a taller case.
