Description
Almost the same box as the LDC6-270, the Leoch LDC6-265-GC2 stands 10.55 inches over its T11 (M8) terminals on a 260 by 180 mm base, with an ABS case and a weight of 72.5 lbs. Despite the 265 in its name, the datasheet rates it at 268Ah at 20 hours, with 220Ah at 5 hours and 200Ah at 3 hours. Reserve capacity is 550 minutes at 25A and 165 minutes at 75A.
Where it differs from the 270 is in faster discharge. The 270 delivers 235Ah at 5 hours against this battery's 220Ah and 219Ah at 3 hours against 200Ah. The 265-GC2 makes up some of that gap by being 4 lbs lighter, which counts when you are lifting several to build a bank.
The step down is the LDC6-224-GC2, which sits 15 mm lower over its terminals at the price of 44Ah at the 20-hour rate. For machines with a tray tall enough for both, this is the better balance of capacity and size.
