Description
Fitting inside a 260 by 180 mm footprint while delivering 270Ah at the 20-hour rate is the main selling point of the Leoch LDC6-270. The case is 10.35 inches high and the battery 10.55 inches over its T11 (M8) terminals, and it is built from ABS. Leoch's datasheet for the model lists golf carts, sightseeing vehicles, cleaning equipment, aerial work platforms, mobility devices and electric vehicles among the intended applications.
The closest sibling is the LDC6-265-GC2, which shares the same overall height. Moving to the 270 buys only 2Ah at 20 hours, but 15Ah more at 5 hours (235Ah against 220Ah) and 19Ah more at 3 hours, with reserve capacity of 630 minutes at 25A and 180 minutes at 75A. The cost is 4 lbs more, at 76.5 lbs in total.
If you need more than this and can spare an extra 35 mm of length, the LDC6-275 adds capacity, and if you can spare height instead, the LDC6-315 and LDC6-350 move into the 300Ah-plus range.
