Floor care labor is hard to schedule and harder to keep consistent, which is the problem the Tennant T380AMR is aimed at. It is a robotic version of a 20-inch disk scrubber that can clean on its own through aisles, so a warehouse, big-box store or distribution floor can get a scheduled pass while staff do other work.
Compared with the walk-behind Tennant T260 or T300, you give up the flexibility of a person who can spot clean a spill or dodge a pallet on the spot. This machine is built around aisle work: Tennant lists a 3.5 ft navigation aisle, a 4.5 ft aisle entrance and a 7.5 ft U-turn, so it suits wide, repeatable layouts rather than cramped or constantly rearranged rooms. It is also a new machine from Tennant, not a refurbished unit.
