SFS FD28 Walk-Behind Floor Scrubber
Most walk-behind scrubbers run out of water long before the operator runs out of floor. The SFS FD28 is built the other way around: it pairs a 27.6-inch twin-brush cleaning path with a 29.1-gallon solution tank — capacity you would normally only find on a ride-on machine — so a single fill covers ground that would send a smaller unit back to the drain two or three times.
Two counter-rotating disc brushes driven by a pair of 550 W motors put real scrubbing pressure on the floor, and the 36.2-inch rear squeegee is deliberately wider than the brush path so the machine picks up its own water even through turns. A 200 Ah battery bank carries three to four hours of continuous work, which in practice means a full shift on most single-building routes without a mid-day charge.
The honest trade-off is bulk. At 23.8 and 29.1 gallons, the tanks are heavy when full and the machine needs room to turn — this is a scrubber for open aisles and long runs, not for crowded retail floors or restrooms. If your routes are tight or broken up by obstacles, a narrower unit will finish faster despite the smaller tanks.
