Description
The code .070/46 tells you this is the most aggressive scrub brush in the range, and it reads backwards to most people: the second number is grit size, and lower means rougher. A 46 grit is the super-abrasive grade used in severe environments, where 180 grit is the ordinary all-purpose fill. The .070 is filament thickness - a heavy bristle that stays stiff under pressure instead of flexing away from the floor.
So this is the brush for bonded soil that normal grit brushes polish rather than lift: ground-in grease, tyre rubber, cured spills on bare concrete. Two cautions follow from the same aggression. Held in one spot or run with heavy down-pressure it will cut the slab itself, and on any coated or finished floor it strips the coating. It belongs on bare concrete. Grit brushes also have a shorter life than plain poly, because the abrasive wears off before the filament does - when it stops biting, more pressure will not bring it back.
