Description
This is the soft member of a three-brush family. Tennant builds the same 28 cm (11 in) polypropylene disk in soft, medium and hard, and the only thing separating the three part numbers is how stiff the filament is. SPPV02580 is the soft one.
Soft fill is what you want on floors where the finish is the asset: waxed VCT, coated concrete, sealed terrazzo. It cleans by flexing across the surface rather than scouring it, so it lifts light daily soil without hazing the shine or cutting through the coating. Nothing with grit in it belongs on those floors, and even a stiff poly brush will gradually dull them.
The limit is honest: soft fill will not shift bonded soil. If you find yourself making repeat passes over the same marks, the floor is asking for the medium (SPPV02438) or hard (SPPV02581) version of this same brush rather than more passes with this one.
