Description
SPPV02581 is the stiffest of Tennant's three 28 cm (11 in) polypropylene disk brushes. Same diameter and same material as the soft and medium versions - the filament is simply harder, so it stands up to pressure instead of flexing away from it.
Hard poly is the pick for unfinished concrete, quarry tile, textured surfaces and anywhere traffic grinds soil into the floor. It still has no grit, so it will not cut the slab the way an abrasive brush can, which makes it the sensible middle ground when a soft brush is not keeping up but you are not ready to put abrasive on the floor.
Keep it off waxed VCT and coated floors. Stiff polypropylene dulls finish and, given enough passes, removes it - that is what the soft version (SPPV02580) exists for. The medium (SPPV02438) splits the difference if your site has both kinds of floor.
