Height is the selling point of the US AGM 6V27: it measures only 8.98 inches tall, with a 12.05 by 6.61 inch footprint, so it is a long, low 6V battery. That is about 1.8 inches shorter than the US AGM 2000 and about an inch shorter than the 2224, which matters if your tray has little vertical clearance.
Capacity is 215Ah at 20 hours and 182Ah at five hours, with runtimes of 112 minutes at 75 amps, 180 at 56 amps and 500 at 25 amps. At 64 pounds it sits between the 2000 (60 lbs, 210Ah) and the 2224 (69.4 lbs, 224Ah). In the 75 amp test it runs 112 minutes where the 2224 runs 135, so heavy-draw users get more from the 2224.
The case is heat-sealed ABS, and the sealed AGM construction needs no watering and tolerates being mounted on its side.
