Description
At 35Ah, the US AGM U1 is the smallest battery in the US AGM line, and it is meant for modest loads rather than long shifts. Its case measures 7.68 by 5.12 by 7.13 inches, small enough to tuck into spots where even a group 24 would not fit. Reach for it when you need a compact sealed 12V source for accessories, controls or light-duty equipment instead of a primary traction bank.
The numbers explain what it is not for. U.S. Battery rates it at 11 minutes at a 75 amp draw and 45 minutes at 25 amps, so a heavy continuous load drains it quickly. If your application pulls tens of amps for hours, step up to the US AGM 24 (90Ah) or larger.
The AGM design brings the usual practical benefits: sealed and maintenance-free, no free liquid to freeze or spill, and the case can be mounted on its side. U.S. Battery lists the case as heat-sealed ABS and describes the battery for any 12-volt deep-cycle application.
