Description
The US Battery US8VGC-XC2 is an 8-volt, 170Ah flooded lead-acid battery in U.S. Battery's GC8 case — the standard size for 48V golf cart and floor-equipment packs (six 8V batteries wired in series). It's built for fleets that already run flooded batteries and are comfortable with a watering routine in exchange for a lower cost per battery.
U.S. Battery's XC2 formulation and Diamond Plate construction are aimed specifically at getting flooded batteries to full rated capacity faster than older flooded designs — fewer break-in cycles before the battery hits its stride, which matters for a fleet where downtime during break-in adds up across six batteries per cart. The charge efficiency design also meets California Energy Commission combined charger/battery requirements.
