Description
The Leoch LDC12-220 is a big single-case option for setups that need serious runtime without going to an 8D battery — solar and off-grid power banks, large RV/camper house-battery upgrades, marine house banks, and backup power systems that pull steady loads for hours at a time.
Where this one earns its keep is the plate chemistry: Leoch blends carbon into the negative active material, which lets the battery keep accepting charge even when it's not fully topped off (called partial state of charge, or PSoC) — useful for solar setups that don't always get a full daily charge, or RV/marine use where you're rarely plugged into shore power long enough for a complete cycle. That same additive package also cuts down on sulfation, one of the more common reasons AGM batteries die early.
Sealed and valve-regulated with dual stud terminals, so it can be mounted without special venting.
