The 31-AES is the largest single-case 12V option in the AES lineup, and unusually it's sold in two BCI group sizes — 29 and 31 — under the same model name, so it's worth confirming which case dimension a given machine actually needs before ordering. Both versions share the same electrical performance; only the footprint and terminal placement differ slightly.
The Group 31 version is rated at 83Ah (5-hr) up to 104Ah (20-hr), with 180 minutes of reserve at 25 amps. It ships with both automotive post & stud terminals and an M8 insert option, giving it more connection flexibility than the smaller 24-AES and 27-AES.
