The J185-AES is the sealed AGM counterpart to the flooded J185H-AC, built for scrubbers that need a genuinely large single 12V battery rather than a bank of smaller cells. Trojan markets it specifically for floor cleaning machines — it's one of the few AES models with floor cleaning listed as its sole primary application rather than one of several.
Rated at 140Ah (5-hr) and 210Ah at the 100-hour rate, with 350 minutes of reserve at 25 amps, it delivers roughly the same total energy as the flooded J185H-AC in a sealed, maintenance-free package — worth the AGM premium specifically when watering access is impractical or the equipment gets deep-cycled hard enough that the AES's 3x cycle-life rating pays for itself over the battery's service life.
