Where the 31-AES tops out at 104Ah, the GC12-cased T1275-AES pushes further to 124Ah (5-hr) / 156Ah (100-hr) in a case only slightly larger — 12.96" long against the 31-AES's 12.80". For aerial work platforms and floor machines running long shifts between charges, that extra headroom is the whole point of stepping up a size class rather than adding a battery to the bank.
295 minutes of reserve at 25 amps and 1.87 kWh of stored energy put it ahead of both the 24-AES and 27-AES on straight runtime, while still sharing the same AES construction: 1,200-cycle validated life at 100% depth of discharge, a -40°F to 140°F operating window, and the ability to mount horizontally when vertical clearance is tight. At 105 lbs it's a two-person lift for most crews, worth planning for during installation.
