Group 27 sits right above Group 24 in U.S. Battery's AGM lineup — same width and height family, just longer, which is where the extra 18Ah over the AGM 24 comes from. If your equipment bay has a few extra inches of depth to spare, stepping up to Group 27 is usually a better move than trying to squeeze more capacity out of a Group 24 case.
